Volunteer

Each of our volunteer tutors must complete a compulsory six-week training course run by AMES. Each session is held on campus and goes for two and a half hours. Please note that in order to volunteer you must attend the information night, all training sessions and at least one workshop each semester. Volunteers must be able to commit to tutoring for as a minimum of
6 consecutive months.

The information night will be held Monday 15th August at Monash University, Clayton.

Training will be held from 5:00-7:30 PM on campus on Monday nights beginning Monday 5th September and finishing Monday 17th October, 2011. Please note that there is no training during the spring mid-semester break.

Please note that you must be a STEW member in order to undertake training and volunteer. Membership is free for students with an MSA card and $5 for those without. There will be the opportunity to sign up for membership at the information night.
